Felt Ensemble

Erin wears felt ensemble in red.

Whilst digging through the fabric piles at spotlight I came across the most unlikely of fashion fabric, red felt. I was immediately drawn to the vibrant colour and began imagining different types of garments which I could produce with it. I settled upon this red ensemble, a 3/4 circle skirt and matching top. I applied a similar principle of pattern making to the top as I did the skirt.

Circle skirts are incredibly easy to make yourself and there are loads of great tutorials online of how to do so.

Erin wears shirred shoulder dress.

Today was the first day I didn't want to curl up in front of a heater this winter, so I decided it was time to post again! I made this dress for Erin's recent trip overseas.
The shirring at the top makes it a little reminiscent of the dresses I used to wear as a toddler. The detail at the bottom makes it night or day appropriate.

Note: maybe don't ride a bike with heels on

ACTIVE WEAR

This semester at university I focused my attention on an active wear range. The range is targeted at young females with the aim to encourage physical activity. 
I have created a range which is fun, functional and affordable. 
The theme of my range was inspired by the Youthquake movement which happened in the 1960's.

SWIMWEAR

Natalia and Aleks wear bikini set designed, pattern made and sewn by me.

Bikini features include:
- cup and under wire support
- cut out feature on wings and bikini bottom

AUTUMN SHORT

Elastic waist houndstooth short with frayed hem.
These shorts were made using the same paper pattern as previously seen on the print on print on print post. They are so easy to construct, all you need is just over half a meter of fabric of your choice, a piece of elastic and some thread. You can find a similar pattern here..
